Tracks

A cutscene is composed by a number of Tracks, every track describes the animation of an object's parameter over the time.
After you have selected a cutscene you can add a new track or edit/remove an existing one using the Tracks panel.

Track group name

1. Track group name
Tracks are grouped 'per object', in the sense that all tracks that animate the parameters of the same object are grouped in a unique section whose name is tha name of the object.
If parameters do not belong to any object (scene parameters) they are grouped together into the "scene" section.

General information

1. General information
Here there are some information about the current track:

  • Type

: This is the track class (see Tracks list overview).

  • Target

: this is the object, if any, on which it is applied the track animation.

Track specific parameters

2. Track specific parameters
Every track has its own parameters basing on its specific class.
However there are some parameters that are common to all tracks:

  • StartTime

: This is the frame at wihich the track must start.

  • EndTime

: This is the frame at which the track must end.

  • noiseFrequency

: Every track animation can be perturbed with a periodic noise function (i.e. a periodic wave functioin).
This is the frequency of the noise applied to the track animation (i.e. the distance between two successive periods).

  • noiseAmplitude

:This is the amplitude of the noise function applied to the track animation (i.e. the height of the noise wave).+

3. Selected keyframe parameters
These are the parameters of the selected keyframe, if any, among the layframes of the current selected track.
